Morro Stripe Grey

Skye FabricJ0267-02

Morro Stripe Grey presents a calm sequence of fine stripes, ribbed bands and narrow decorative borders across a cool blue-grey ground. The layered horizontal layout gives the fabric a tailored, slightly nautical feel without looking overtly classic.

About this fabric

This colourway from Jane Churchill’s Skye collection uses 33% Recycled Wool alongside recycled acrylic, recycled polyester and polyester, giving the surface a softly flecked, lightly textured handle. At approximately 142cm wide, the repeat runs V 35cm / H 4cm approx, creating a structured stripe pattern with enough variation to keep the cloth visually active. In this grey version, the main bands read as slate and steel blue-grey, while the finer accent lines lift the design with pale neutral contrast. The result is smart and restrained, with the woven texture helping the stripes feel more tactile than graphic.

How to use it

Use it on upholstery, cushions or blinds where the cool grey-blue palette can sit against pale wood, chalky paintwork or darker stained finishes. The narrow stripe rhythm works especially well in rooms that want order and quiet movement rather than a bold statement.

Pair with solid linens and timber for a tailored, quietly contemporary look.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Morro Stripe Grey without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
