Morro Stripe Red/Blue pairs a muted denim blue ground with disciplined red and ochre stripes. The result is a neatly ordered stripe with a slightly rustic, woven character.

About this fabric

This stripe is woven in a 142cm approx width and has a repeat of V 35cm / H 4cm approx, giving the design its regular horizontal rhythm. The composition combines 33% Recycled Wool, 26% Recycled Acrylic, 20% Recycled Polyester, 7% Polyester and 6% Recycled fibres, which suits the fabric’s tactile, slightly slubby appearance. In the image, the blue reads cool and softened rather than bright, while the burgundy-red bands and slim golden lines add warmth and definition. The narrow decorative motifs within some of the red stripes give the cloth extra depth without upsetting its tailored stripe effect.

How to use it

Use it to add structure to an armchair, bench seat or blind where the blue ground can balance warmer wood and leather tones. It also works well with off-white, rust and weathered oak for a calm but graphic scheme.

A crisp striped weave that brings orderly colour and a tailored feel to seating or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
