Skye Red
Skye FabricJ0263-05
Skye Red is a small-scale woven stripe with a warm raspberry-red look and fine textural contrast between the coloured and pale yarns. The overall effect is lively but softened, giving the pattern a handwoven feel.

About this fabric
Skye Red from the Skye collection by Jane Churchill has a compact horizontal stripe that reads as red-on-cream with a slightly heathered, rustic finish. The palette feels warm and gently muted rather than bright, with the lighter yarns breaking up the red so the surface doesn’t look flat. At approximately 144cm wide, this fabric offers a practical width for upholstery or drapery projects, and the repeat is V 34cm / H 0.5cm approx. Its composition of 35% Recycled Wool, 28% Recycled Acrylic, 20% Recycled Polyester, 8% Polyester, 7% Recycled gives it the tactile, woolly body visible in the weave, while the care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code K are supplied for specification.
How to use it
This shade works well on a tub chair, bench cushion or Roman blind where the narrow stripe can add movement without overpowering a room. Pair it with pale timber, chalky neutrals or deeper red accents to bring out its warm, homespun character.
Use for tailored seating or relaxed curtains when you want a crisp, woven stripe in a warm red tone.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
