About this fabric

This colourway shows broad horizontal stripes in saturated red, dusky blue and a soft neutral ground, with the woven surface giving the stripes a slightly mottled, handworked edge. The composition is 40% Acrylic, 34% Polyester, 19% Cotton, 4% Viscose and 3% Linen, so it has the character of a mixed-fibre fabric rather than a flat print. With an approximate width of 134cm and a repeat of V 18cm / H 134cm, the design runs cleanly across the full width with a strong directional stripe. It is finished with care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code K, making it a practical textile choice with a lively, contemporary colour balance.

How to use it

Use Milas Red/Blue on an armchair, bench or loose cover where the red will animate the room without feeling overly formal. It works especially well with chalky whites, weathered timber and quieter blue accents that echo the stripe.

Pair with plain linens or worn leather to let the bold stripe lead the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
