About this fabric
Skye Pale Blue from Jane Churchill is woven at approximately 144cm wide and has a vertical repeat of 34cm with a horizontal repeat of 0.5cm, creating a fine striped effect that reads softly at a distance. The composition blends 35% Recycled Wool, 28% Recycled Acrylic, 20% Recycled Polyester, 8% Polyester and 7% Recycled fibre, which helps give the cloth its lightly textured, slightly nubbly handle. In this colourway the white ground is washed with cool powder blue, so the stripe feels pale, clean and faintly coastal rather than bright or saturated. The overall effect is calm and tailored, with the light catching the raised weave to reveal a subtle linen-like movement across the surface.
How to use it
Use Skye Pale Blue to bring a cool, understated lift to compact upholstery, benches or cushions, or pair it with white-painted joinery and pale timber for a breezy scheme. It also works well as relaxed curtains where the soft blue stripe can add quiet pattern without overpowering the room.
