Theo FabricJ0191-07

Theo Aqua is a quietly textured fabric in a pale, refreshing aqua tone, with a fine herringbone-like surface that reads soft and understated. The overall effect is cool and light, rather than bright or coastal.

About this fabric

Woven in a 146cm width and composed of 60% Recycled Wool, 15% Polyester, 10% Polyamide, 10% Wool and 5% Other Fibres, Theo Aqua has the practical feel of a versatile upholstery fabric with enough softness for curtains and loose covers. The tiny zigzag weave gives the surface a subtle linen-like grain, while the aqua colour sits between blue and green for a calm, airy finish. The repeat is V 0cm / H 1cm approx, so the pattern reads as a close, all-over texture rather than a bold motif. Its light, misty tone keeps the design feeling fresh and easy to live with.

How to use it

Use Theo Aqua to soften pale oak, chalk white or brushed nickel finishes, where its cool aqua tint will add gentle colour without overwhelming the room. It is especially effective on a neat armchair, a window seat cushion or simple relaxed curtains.

A fresh aqua ground that works neatly in both soft furnishings and tailored upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
