Bamboo Palm Blue

Vita FabricJ0100-04

Bamboo Palm Blue presents a loose palm-leaf motif in soft blue, aqua and muted sage across an ivory ground. The design feels fresh and airy, with a gentle painted texture that keeps the pattern light rather than graphic.

About this fabric

This Vita fabric by Jane Churchill has a large botanical repeat, with vertical and horizontal repeats of approximately 58cm and 65cm, creating an open, easy rhythm across the cloth. The composition of 46% viscose, 45% linen and 9% polyester gives the fabric a natural, slightly dry look that suits the softly brushed leaf detailing visible in the swatch. The palette is cool and subdued, mixing pale sky blue, teal-leaning aqua, soft olive and a little washed denim blue on an ivory base. At approximately 130cm wide, it is a practical width for furnishing projects, and the Q 8 + T 3 care code with √BM fire code adds useful specification detail for contract and domestic schemes alike.

How to use it

The cool blue-and-aqua leaves work well against white painted joinery, pale oak and sandy neutrals. Use it in relaxed curtains, cushions or a feature armchair where the light ground can keep the room feeling open.

Use it for drapes or a statement chair to bring a fresh, airy palm motif into the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
