About this fabric

This Jane Churchill fabric has a clear geometric rhythm, with each small stepped motif creating a sharp zigzag impression across the cloth. The colourway pairs an airy chalky blue with a darker ink blue, so the pattern reads crisp rather than heavy, while the natural-looking ground keeps the overall effect bright and balanced. At approximately 136cm wide, and with a repeat of V 17cm / H 17cm approx, it is well suited to patterned furnishings where the repeat can be planned accurately. The blend of 44% Acrylic, 30% Polyester, 19% Cotton, 4% Viscose and 3% Linen gives the surface a woven, slightly textured look that feels practical and tailored.

How to use it

Use Ira Blue on a pair of armchairs, a bench, or statement scatter cushions where the pale blue keeps the room fresh and the navy adds definition. It also works neatly with white paint, pale oak, and brushed metal for a smart, coastal-leaning scheme.

A crisp geometric for tailored upholstery or neat cushions with a cool, ordered feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
