About this fabric
Apsley Soft Pink from Jane Churchill’s Tarka collection is a 138cm-wide fabric with a repeat of V 32cm / H 23cm approx and a composition of 57% viscose, 31% cotton, 9% linen and 3% polyester. The design shows broad vertical stripes in muted blush pink alternating with pale ivory grounds, with softly serrated edges that give the pattern a slightly ikat-like, brushed movement. In this colourway the pink reads warm and powdery, with enough softness in the weave to keep the contrast calm rather than crisp. It has a relaxed, textural look that feels tailored but not formal. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this fabric.
How to use it
Use it on a statement chair, ottoman or bench where the large stripe can be seen clearly, or hang it as full-length curtains for a soft, uplifting wash of colour. The blush tone pairs especially well with chalk white, pale oak and warm neutrals.
The airy blush tones work beautifully for upholstery or curtains when you want pattern without heaviness.
