Theo Claret shows a fine, tightly worked zigzag weave in a muted claret pink. The surface has a dry woolly handle and a subtle heathered depth that keeps the colour calm rather than bright.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a softened claret: pink at first glance, then warmer and more muted as the light moves across the weave. The small repeating pattern gives the cloth a tailored, textural look, and the close herringbone effect is crisp without feeling busy. Made from 60% Recycled Wool, 15% Polyester, 10% Polyamide, 10% Wool and 5% Other Fibres, it is a practical woven with a width of approximately 146cm and a horizontal repeat of about 1cm. The finish feels suitably sturdy for upholstery, while the tonal surface also works well for structured curtains or other soft furnishings where a smart, compact pattern is wanted.

How to use it

Use Theo Claret to bring warmth to mid-century seating, dining chairs or a tailored banquette. Its dusty pink-claret tone pairs neatly with walnut, oatmeal and deep olive for a layered, sophisticated room.

A refined woven pink that adds warmth without overpowering a scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
