Floris Soft Blue

Vita FabricJ0099-01

Floris Soft Blue shows a painterly floral trail scattered across a pale ground, with petals brushed in soft blue, sage and muted green. The overall effect is airy and fresh, with the motif reading clearly without feeling heavy.

About this fabric

Woven in a 52% viscose, 48% linen blend, this Jane Churchill fabric has a natural-looking body with a softly fluid handle that suits both curtains and lighter upholstery. The design repeats at V 78cm / H 65cm approx, creating a generous floral rhythm that suits the scale of the trailing stems and open blooms. In this colourway the blue is cool and washed rather than bright, with sage and olive notes giving the flowers a gentle, slightly watercoloured depth against the pale ground. The 130cm approx width and fire code √BM make it a practical decorative fabric for schemes that want pattern without visual weight.

How to use it

Use Soft Blue with white-painted furniture, limed oak and linen blinds for a calm layered scheme. It also sits beautifully with muted greens and stone neutrals, where the cooler blue petals can read as the room’s quiet accent.

Pair with pale woods and chalky neutrals to let the painterly bloom trail stay airy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
