Halcyon Blue
Skala FabricJ781F-04
Halcyon Blue shows Skala’s layered, textural pattern in a cool, slate-leaning blue with pale grey-blue highlights. The effect is crisp and softly weathered rather than bright or glossy.

About this fabric
Woven in 67% viscose and 33% polyester, this fabric has a dry, textural look that suits both upholstery and drapery use. The colourway reads as a muted blue-grey, with darker navy-slate marks broken up by lighter chalky blue and stone notes, giving the design real depth on the cloth. At approximately 140cm wide, it offers a practical working width, while the vertical repeat of about 74cm and horizontal repeat of about 35cm create a strong, structured rhythm across the pattern. The overall impression is cool and understated, with enough movement in the surface to keep the design from feeling flat.
How to use it
Use Halcyon Blue on a clean-lined armchair, ottoman, or roman blind to play up its smart, architectural feel. It pairs especially well with pale oak, putty neutrals, and brushed metal finishes.
A cool slate-blue ground softens the graphic texture and works well across tailored seating or relaxed curtains.
Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Halcyon Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
