Fraser Charcoal
Skye FabricJ0265-06
Fraser Charcoal shows a fine herringbone weave in a cool, mottled charcoal grey. The small-scale zigzag reads crisp and tailored, with the pattern just visible rather than bold.

About this fabric
Woven in 51% Recycled Wool, 39% Recycled Acrylic and 10% Recycled Polyester, this Skye fabric has a dry, even handle that suits a practical interior scheme. The repeat is a compact V 0cm / H 2cm approx, which keeps the herringbone neatly aligned and gives the surface a disciplined, pinstripe-like rhythm. At 144cm approx wide, Fraser Charcoal presents as a versatile cloth for upholstery or curtains where a subdued patterned grey is wanted. The overall tone is a cool charcoal with lighter grey flecks, so the cloth reads textured and architectural rather than heavy or glossy.
How to use it
Use it on a compact armchair, a banquette or relaxed drapes where the small-scale herringbone can add structure without dominating. Its cool charcoal depth pairs especially well with pale oak, chalk white and black metal details.
A restrained charcoal herringbone that works neatly on tailored upholstery or quiet curtains.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Fraser Charcoal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
