Emilio Charcoal

Mundo FabricL9484-05

Emilio Charcoal is a pared-back grey with a finely mottled, linen-rich surface that reads calm and contemporary. The close weave gives the colour a quiet depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

Emilio Charcoal from Larsen’s Mundo collection is a fabric with no repeat, allowing the subtle woven texture to take centre stage. The composition is 26% Linen, 25% Polyester, 22% Cotton, 16% Wool and 11% Viscose, which helps explain the dry, natural hand and softly variegated appearance visible in the swatch. Its charcoal tone is tempered rather than stark, sitting in a cool grey register with gentle lighter flecks that lift the surface. At approximately 135cm wide and with a √BH fire code, it is a practical choice for schemes that need a restrained, tailored look.

How to use it

Use this colourway on an upholstered armchair, bench or headboard where the charcoal weave can add texture without dominating the room. It pairs especially well with pale oak, graphite trims and off-white walls for a clean, layered scheme.

A cool, textural neutral that layers neatly with oak, black accents, and crisp linens.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
