About this fabric

Woven in 45% Cotton, 44% Viscose and 11% Linen, Ria Blue has a crisp, lightly textural handle that shows the yarn mix clearly in the small check structure. The repeat is approximately V 3cm / H 2cm, creating a compact, ordered pattern that reads smart and precise rather than bold. In this colourway, the blue sits close to slate and softened denim tones, lifted by the pale ground so the overall effect feels fresh and restrained. At approximately 140cm wide, it is a versatile fabric for schemes that want pattern without excess scale, and the Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BM fire code make it practical for interior use.

How to use it

This cool blue-grey check works well on a tailored chair, bench seat or cushion where the pattern can bring structure without overpowering the room. Pair it with pale oak, chalky whites or deeper navy accents to keep the palette crisp and balanced.

Use for neat upholstery or tailored curtains where a cool blue-grey check feels crisp and composed.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
