Plato Teal/Copper

Rousseau - Atmosphere VIII FabricJ765F-07

Plato Teal/Copper shows a neat vertical trail of small teardrop motifs across a cool teal ground. The copper centres add a crisp, luminous contrast that lifts the design without making it feel busy.

About this fabric

This fabric is composed of 87% viscose, 7% polyester and 6% silk, giving the surface a softly lustrous handle that catches the light across the teal ground. The repeat is V 16cm / H 16cm approx and the width is 128cm approx, so the pattern reads as a regular, rhythmic all-over with good visual order. In this colourway, the teal is muted rather than bright, with a greyed depth that makes the copper detail feel more graphic and warm. The small-scale leaf or teardrop motif is cleanly outlined, creating a smart decorative effect that feels polished rather than playful.

How to use it

Use Plato Teal/Copper on a tailored chair, bench cushion or Roman blind where the repeating motif can be seen clearly. Its cool teal base and copper highlight pair especially well with pale wood, brass and soft cream finishes.

A refined teal leaf motif with copper accents that works well for tailored upholstery or elegant drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
