About this fabric

Fontane Teal from the Sansa collection by Jane Churchill is a fabric with a small-scale geometric repeat of approximately V 35cm / H 18cm and a width of approximately 144cm. Its 42% linen, 27% cotton, 27% viscose and 4% polyamide composition gives the surface a softly textured, woven handle with a subtle natural character. In this colourway, the teal sits in a muted, cool register, softened by the pale ground so the pattern feels fresh and calm rather than saturated. The ivory outline lifts the design and keeps the repeating motif clear, which makes it especially appealing for upholstery and drapery where a neat, refined pattern is wanted.

How to use it

Use Fontane Teal on a small armchair, dining chair or bench for a crisp hit of colour that still feels restrained. It also works well for curtains or blinds where the pale teal and ivory pattern can brighten a room without overpowering it.

The cool pale teal and crisp ivory lattice give this woven design a fresh, tailored feel for coordinated interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
