About this fabric

Woven in a 63% cotton, 20% viscose, 15% linen and 2% polyacrylic blend, Elliot Smoke has a natural matte character with just enough refinement to keep the surface looking considered. The weave reads as a small, evenly textured ground with no repeat, so the effect is understated and easy to place in a scheme. Its smoke-toned taupe sits cool-neutral rather than warm, with pale highlights catching across the raised texture and deeper shadow in the weave. At approximately 130cm wide and with a √CM fire code, it is well suited to upholstery use where a restrained, durable neutral is needed.

How to use it

Use Elliot Smoke on a sofa, bench or headboard where its muted taupe tone can soften harder materials like oak, blackened metal or stone. It also works well alongside chalky whites, putty greys and deeper charcoals for a layered, modern neutral palette.

A quietly textured neutral that layers easily with timber, linen and darker accent tones.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
