About this fabric

Woven in 100% Virgin Wool, this colourway reads as a warm, muted taupe with a soft brown-grey undertone and a very even, tightly worked texture. The fabric has no visible repeat, and the close weave gives the surface a smooth, tailored look rather than a lofty or slubbed finish. At approx. 139cm wide, it is a practical cloth for considered upholstery work, and the neutral depth of the shade keeps it quietly versatile. The understated tone sits between brown and grey, so it feels grounded without looking heavy. It is supplied with care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM.

How to use it

Use Dandy Taupe on benches, dining chairs, or a neat sofa where its mellow brown-grey tone can soften harder lines. It pairs especially well with oak, stone, and chalky off-whites for a quietly layered room.

A restrained taupe that works beautifully on tailored seating and quiet scheme anchors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
