Masai Fog

Kuba FabricL9470-09

Masai Fog shows the Kuba design in a soft, misty green that feels calm and understated rather than bright. The raised woven motif creates a gentle all-over movement that catches the light with a subtle, velvety depth.

About this fabric

Masai Fog from Larsen’s Kuba collection is a fabric with a 63% viscose and 37% cotton composition, a width of approximately 141cm and a repeat of V 53cm / H 35cm approx. In this colourway, the pattern reads as a muted fog green with cooler grey undertones, so the design feels settled and softly atmospheric. The woven surface gives the chevron-like Kuba motif a tactile, almost brushed appearance, with the pattern lifting just enough from the ground to create shadow and texture. It has a smart, composed character that works particularly well where you want pattern without high contrast.

How to use it

Use this muted green to bring a grounded, tailored feel to upholstery, or hang it at the window for a softer, more atmospheric finish. It pairs especially well with oak, limestone, and deeper olive or charcoal accents.

A quiet green with a softly textured weave, ideal for tailored upholstery or relaxed drapery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Masai Fog without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
