Marajo Hemp

Mundo FabricL9479-02

Marajo Hemp shows a softly irregular woven pattern in a warm hemp-beige ground, with darker yarns sketching the motif across the surface. The effect is understated but tactile, with enough movement to keep the cloth from reading flat.

About this fabric

Part of Larsen’s Mundo collection, Marajo Hemp is a fabric with a 128cm approximate width and a small-scale repeat of V 42cm / H 16cm. The composition is 75% cotton, 11% acrylic, 11% virgin wool and 3% polyester, giving the cloth a natural, softly structured handle that suits both seating and window schemes. In this colourway, the beige ground feels earthy rather than yellow, while the fine darker flecks bring a gentle shadowed contrast. The woven surface has a dry, slightly nubby look that adds depth without making the pattern feel heavy.

How to use it

Use Marajo Hemp on a tailored armchair, ottoman or relaxed curtains where its warm neutral tone can soften sharper architectural lines. It pairs well with oak, brushed metal and deeper brown accents, letting the small pattern add texture rather than dominate.

A warm, easy neutral that adds quiet texture without stealing focus.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
