Swing Clay

Moonrise FabricL9356-02

Swing Clay reads as a softly mottled sand-beige stripe, with a gentle vertical rhythm and a tactile woolly surface. The tone feels warm and quiet rather than bright, giving the design an easy, lived-in softness.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% wool, Swing Clay has a compact, textured handle that sits neatly in the folds shown in the swatch. The repeat is V 3cm / H 6cm approx, creating a subtle striped effect that becomes more visible where the light catches the raised weave. Its warm beige ground is lifted by slightly deeper clay-toned bands, so the overall effect is calm, natural and softly dimensional. With a width of 130cm approx and care code Q 8 + T 3, it is a versatile fabric for furniture or soft furnishing projects where texture matters.

How to use it

Use Swing Clay to soften timber furniture, linen upholstery and pale painted walls, especially in rooms that need warmth without strong colour. Its muted sand-and-clay stripe works beautifully in relaxed schemes with oak, plaster pinks and earthy ceramics.

A soft, neutral stripe that brings warmth and texture to calm interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
