About this fabric
This Larsen Moonrise fabric is composed of 94% wool and 6% silk, giving the cloth a refined, lightly lustrous handle that suits elegant drapery. At approximately 310cm wide, it is especially well suited to wide curtain drops with fewer joins. The repeating pattern is large in scale, with a vertical and horizontal repeat of about 60cm by 63cm, and the abstract linework sits in a muted clay-beige that feels warmer than a true taupe. Against the creamy ivory base, the motif appears soft-edged and organic rather than graphic, so the overall effect is calm and atmospheric. The visible structure reads as a substantial decorative textile rather than a sheer, with enough body to hold generous folds.
How to use it
Use Roots Clay where you want warmth without heaviness: in relaxed living rooms, bedrooms, or dining spaces with pale timber, plaster, or stone. The soft clay veining works beautifully alongside natural linens, pale oak, and aged brass.
