Tessa Ivory

Misti FabricL9540-01

Tessa Ivory is a soft, light ivory with a gently mottled linen-look surface and fine horizontal slubbing. The finish feels calm and understated, with just enough texture to keep the pale tone from reading flat.

About this fabric

Woven in a 139cm approximate width, Tessa Ivory combines 32% linen, 27% cotton, 14% viscose, 12% wool, 9% polyester and 6% acrylic. The cloth shows a subtle open-grain texture with tiny darker flecks and light, irregular striations that give the ivory ground a natural, slightly broken appearance. Its repeat is listed as V 0cm / H 0cm approx, so the texture reads as an all-over weave rather than a directional pattern. With no performance features noted, it is a softly tailored decorative fabric that still feels substantial enough for general interior use. The Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BH fire code are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this ivory colourway to soften oak, walnut or painted joinery, where its pale warmth will lift the room without feeling stark. It also works well for relaxed curtains or cushions when you want texture more than pattern.

A quiet ivory weave that suits pared-back schemes and layers easily with natural woods.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
