About this fabric

This colourway shows a soft foggy cream with a barely-there mastic undertone, so it feels lighter and warmer than a stark white. The visible weave has a fine, quiet texture that adds depth without any strong pattern effect, even though the design has an approximate vertical and horizontal repeat of 2cm. Made from 99% linen and 1% polyester, it has the natural look of linen with a little added practicality, and the generous 310cm approximate width makes it especially suited to wide drapery drops. The Q 8 + T 3 care code and Z fire code are useful specification details for specifying it in both residential and contract schemes.

How to use it

Use Fog Mastic where you want a room to feel airy and softly tailored: it will flatter oak, limewashed walls and warm stone. Its pale, muted tone is ideal for full-height curtains or calm upholstered pieces that should recede rather than dominate.

A calm, airy neutral that works beautifully as sweeping drapery or understated upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
