Moonrise FabricL9342-01

Mist Cream is a softly luminous cream fabric with a gentle translucent feel and vertical textural striations that show clearly in the hanging sample. The colour reads as warm and airy rather than bright white.

About this fabric

Mist Cream from Larsen’s Moonrise collection is woven in 47% wool, 42% linen and 11% polyamide, with an approximate width of 300cm and a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx. The cloth has a light, fluid drape in the image, so it falls in relaxed folds rather than holding a structured shape. Its surface appears finely textured and softly matte, with subtle woven bands that become visible as the light passes through the fabric. The overall tone is a pale creamy ivory with a faint warm cast, giving it a calm, diffused look. With no repeat to interrupt the surface, it reads as clean and understated on large windows or full-height curtains.

How to use it

Use Mist Cream where you want soft daylight and a quiet backdrop, especially in rooms with plaster, oak or pale painted finishes. Its warm cream tone works well layered beneath heavier drapes or left simple for a light, serene window treatment.

Sheer and quietly elegant, ideal for layered curtains that soften light without feeling stark.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Mist Cream without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
