Machu Rosewood

Misti FabricL9551-05

Machu Rosewood shows a rich, warm terracotta-brown with a muted rose cast, giving the surface a calm, earthy depth. The weave reads fine and even, with a softly textural finish that catches the light gently rather than shining.

About this fabric

This colourway of Misti in Machu Rosewood is a closely woven plain with no visible pattern, letting the tone and texture do the work. The 57% cotton, 24% linen and 19% viscose composition gives it a natural-looking body with a slightly softened handle, while the approximate 143cm width makes it practical for a range of furnishings. The surface sits between rust, clay and dried-rose brown, so it feels warmer than a true brown and less red than a terracotta. With no repeat and a subtle, tactile weave, it has the versatility to read quietly in a scheme while still adding depth. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √CM are supplied for specification.

How to use it

Use Machu Rosewood on an armchair or bench for a grounded accent that pairs well with oak, walnut and aged brass. It also works beautifully as curtain fabric in a room with cream walls, where the warm rose-brown tone will feel cosy and tailored.

A warm, grounded tone that suits tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
