About this fabric

Woven in 57% cotton, 24% linen and 19% viscose, this Misti fabric has the crisp-but-soft character you expect from a cotton-linen blend with added viscose smoothness. The swatch shows a warm sandy beige ground with a gentle oat tone and a slightly heathered textile surface that catches light without looking shiny. Its plain repeat, with vertical and horizontal repeat both approx 0cm, makes the texture and colour do the work rather than any motif. At approx 143cm wide, it is a versatile cloth for upholstery or drapery where an understated natural finish is wanted.

How to use it

Use Machu Clay to soften deeper timber, taupe and stone schemes, or pair it with off-white walls for a quiet, layered room. Its warm beige cast keeps it inviting rather than stark, especially in daylight.

A soft neutral that sits easily with timber, stone and tonal layering.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
