About this fabric

Woven in a 57% cotton, 24% linen and 19% viscose blend, Machu Honey has a natural-looking handle with the subtle slub and dry softness you would expect from this fibre mix. The cloth appears as a calm honey-gold ground, neither brash nor overly yellow, with a muted warmth that sits comfortably between beige and gold. Its 143cm approximate width and 0cm vertical and horizontal repeat make it straightforward for upholstery or drapery where a clean, uninterrupted surface is wanted. The finish reads tactile and understated rather than glossy, so the colour feels grounded and easy to layer with timber, chalky neutrals or deeper earth tones.

How to use it

Use this shade to warm up a neutral scheme, especially alongside oat, oak and soft taupe. It will bring a mellow golden note to upholstered pieces and relaxed curtains without feeling heavy.

A warm honey tone that works beautifully across upholstery and curtains alike.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
