About this fabric
Masai Wood is a fabric from Larsen’s Kuba collection, made in 63% viscose and 37% cotton with an approximate width of 141cm. The design has a repeating vertical motif with a subtle chevron rhythm, and the texture visible in the swatch gives it depth rather than a flat printed finish. This colourway sits in a red-brown, wood-toned terracotta range, with lighter highlights catching on the raised pattern and darker shadows settling into the recesses. The result feels warm, slightly earthy and refined, suited to upholstery where the woven surface can be appreciated. The supplied repeat is V 53cm / H 35cm approx, and the fabric carries fire code √BM.
How to use it
Pair this wood-toned colourway with tobacco leathers, aged brass and deep olive accents to bring out its warm undertone. It also works well against pale plaster or stone walls, where the repeating pattern can stand out without feeling heavy.
