About this fabric

This Vasco colourway from Larsen has a compact, even weave that shows a fine textile grain across the surface. The blend of 44% wool, 28% cotton, 19% linen and 9% polyamide gives it a natural, slightly dry handle with a subtly textured finish. At approximately 133cm wide with a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm, it is a plain design that relies on tone and weave rather than pattern. Mateus Mustard feels warmer than a true ochre and softer than a strong gold, with a mellow honeyed cast that sits comfortably in both classic and contemporary schemes. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use it on an occasional chair, banquette or cushions where the mustard tone can add warmth without feeling loud. It pairs especially well with walnut, chalky neutrals and aged brass, and the restrained weave keeps it smart.

A warm mustard neutral that brings depth and ease to tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
