Pluto Shamrock

Pluto Fabric

Pluto Shamrock is a vivid, saturated green with a quietly tailored finish and a subtle linen-like surface. The colour reads fresh and grounded rather than neon, with a deep shamrock tone that holds its intensity across the cloth.

About this fabric

This plain fabric from Linwood’s Pluto collection blends 30% cotton, 25% viscose, 15% linen and 30% wool, giving it a softly textural handle with a dry, woven appearance. At 137cm wide and with an approximate plain repeat, it offers a clean, uncomplicated look that lets the strong green colour take centre stage. The shade is a rich shamrock green: bright enough to feel lively, but moderated by the wool and linen content so it appears smart rather than shouty. With a 40,000 Martindale rub test and upholstery grading for Contract and General Domestic use, it is well suited to both fixed and loose cover upholstery as well as curtains. It is also dry clean only and stain resistant, which supports its practical appeal in everyday schemes.

How to use it

Use Pluto Shamrock to bring a crisp, botanical note to neutral interiors, especially alongside oak, putty, charcoal or warm brass. It is bold enough for an armchair or bench, but the even plain weave also makes it a strong curtain choice where you want colour without pattern.

A vivid green that works well on tailored upholstery or crisp curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
