Apolline Aqua

Agathe FabricM4091-07

Apolline Aqua shows a soft, sea-glass green ground scattered with a fine, pebble-like abstract motif. The overall effect is pale, cool and gently textured, with the pattern reading as a quiet all-over movement rather than a bold contrast.

About this fabric

This fabric from the Agathe collection by Manuel Canovas is composed of 52% viscose, 39% cotton and 9% polyamide, with a width of approximately 135cm and a vertical repeat of 17cm and horizontal repeat of 15cm. The swatch reads as a delicate aqua-green with a chalky, creamy undertone, so the motif feels softened rather than crisp. Its small-scale abstract pattern creates a lightly dappled surface that catches the eye without overpowering a scheme. With a balanced cotton-viscose handle and no performance features noted, it suits decorative upholstery or curtains where a fresh, breezy colour is wanted.

How to use it

Use Apolline Aqua to brighten a compact armchair, banquette or ottoman, where the pale aqua will lift darker woods and brass. It also works beautifully at the window in relaxed rooms, especially alongside white, shell or sandy neutrals.

A fresh aqua ground that works well for tailored upholstery or light, airy curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Apolline Aqua without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
