About this fabric

This colourway reads as a muted periwinkle blue with a subtle grey undertone, so it feels fresher than a navy and less sugary than a pastel lilac. The velvet pile catches the light softly rather than flashing, which helps the shade look smooth and refined across larger areas. Made from 60% polyester, 28% recycled polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose, it offers a durable 100,000 Martindale rub test and is suitable for Contract and General Domestic upholstery. At 137cm wide with a plain repeat, it is also well suited to curtains, loose covers and fixed upholstery where a clean, modern finish is wanted.

How to use it

Use this periwinkle velvet on a statement chair, banquette or headboard to introduce colour without heavy contrast. It pairs especially well with pale oak, chalky whites and soft warm neutrals.
