Lola Stripe Traffic Cone

Lola Fabric

Lola Stripe Traffic Cone pairs a vivid orange stripe with a pale, creamy linen ground for a look that feels fresh and high-impact. The contrast is crisp and graphic, with the linen weave left visibly natural beneath the colour.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this fabric has the dry, lightly slubbed character you can see in the cloth surface, while the broad stripe brings the main visual punch. The traffic-cone orange reads warm, saturated and energetic against the soft ivory base, with a narrow blue-grey outline giving each stripe a neat, tailored edge. With a 30,000 Martindale rub test and a General Domestic upholstery grade, it is suited to fixed upholstery as well as everyday seating. It is also FR rated to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and measures 137cm wide with washing instructions that allow machine washing at 30C, though shrinkage of around 3% should be expected.

How to use it

Use it on an accent chair, dining seats or a banquette where the bold orange can become the focal point. It works especially well with painted timber, pale oak and other warm neutrals that let the stripe stay bright.

A lively statement stripe for relaxed seating or a bold accent chair.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
