About this fabric

This fabric is supplied in the Tome collection by Larsen and combines 59% cotton, 16% viscose, 14% polyester and 11% linen. The weave has a crisp, miniature check effect with subtle tonal shifts between the darker ground and slightly lighter rust-red squares, creating depth rather than a flat solid colour. With an approximate width of 138cm and a repeat of V 2cm / H 2cm, it is a practical scale for fitted upholstery pieces as well as coordinated soft furnishings. The overall impression is warm, earthy and disciplined, with the small pattern lending texture and a smart finish. Fire code √CM is noted; care code Q 8 < T 3 applies.

How to use it

Use Azul Spice to bring warmth to an armchair, banquette or loose cover, especially alongside walnut, tan leather or painted dark green joinery. Its brick-red check also works well with natural linens and muted neutrals where you want colour without a loud contrast.

A compact weave that adds rich warmth without overpowering a room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Azul Spice without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
