About this fabric

The design combines curling foliage, small floral forms and rounded ornamental motifs in light grey against the pale pebble ground visible here. Tonal variation gives the embroidery enough depth to reveal the scrolling pattern without making the colourway feel busy. The fabric weighs 385 gsm and has 31 threads per cm, giving this upholstery-suitable textile a substantial woven presence. Its pattern repeat measures 46.5 cm vertically by 45 cm horizontally, while the usable width is 135 cm.

How to use it

Use this cool pebble colourway on a traditional armchair, headboard or occasional sofa where its pale tonal pattern can bring softness without adding strong colour. Pair it with chalky whites, warm stone and muted grey accents to echo the restrained depth of the embroidery.
