About this fabric

This 312 gsm textile has a dense, finely detailed acanthus design in cool inky grey, soft grey and chalky white. The closely worked leaves and scrolling forms create a large-scale botanical rhythm, while the restrained tonal palette keeps the pattern composed rather than vivid. At 130 cm usable width, it has an 85 cm vertical repeat and a 65.2 cm horizontal repeat, allowing the sweeping motifs to read clearly across upholstered or curtained surfaces. The visible weave and layered grey shading add depth as the light moves across the cloth.

How to use it

Use this cool inky-grey colourway on a statement chair, headboard or full-length curtains against warm ivory walls to bring out its pale botanical highlights. Balance the formal acanthus with aged timber, soft stone and plain grey upholstery.
