Crassula Putty/Dove/Slate

Zanzibar Fabrics FabricSCF0081-04

Crassula Putty/Dove/Slate places slender, potted botanical sprigs across an ivory-cream ground. Putty and dove strokes soften the cooler slate foliage, creating a restrained, lightly graphic colourway.

About this fabric

The repeat shows fine stems and long, arching leaves rising from small ribbed containers, picked out in muted putty, dove and slate against the pale ground. Its 300 gsm weight and 38 threads per cm give this 130 cm-wide fabric a considered mid-weight presence for both upholstery and drapery. The vertical pattern repeat is 32.5 cm and the horizontal repeat is 43.3 cm, giving the spaced botanicals a regular, easy-to-read rhythm. The cool slate marks add definition, while the warmer putty lines keep the overall impression soft rather than stark.

How to use it

Use this cool, pale colourway on an occasional chair, Roman blind or relaxed curtain, pairing it with warm ivory, putty and lightly weathered wood. Slate accessories can draw out the darker leaf lines without overpowering the delicate repeat.

Pair the ivory-cream ground with pale timber, putty upholstery and cool slate accents for a calm, tailored scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
