About this fabric

Part of the Carrera collection by J Brown, this plain fabric is made from 100% polyester and specified for contract use, with an impressive 80,000 Martindale rating. The swatch shows a pale mushroom beige with gentle warm undertones, lifted by a light-catching surface that reads slightly lustrous rather than flat. That soft tonal variation gives the cloth a refined, practical feel, ideal where a neutral needs to look considered rather than stark. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and can be professionally cleaned in situ or washed at 40℃, subject to the pattern book care guidance.

How to use it

Use Carrera Mushroom on tailored sofas, banquettes or dining chairs where a pale, warmer neutral is needed without looking cold. It pairs neatly with oak, taupe, putty and brushed metal finishes, especially in contract interiors that need a calm, resilient backdrop.
