About this fabric

Part of the Carrera collection by J Brown, this plain fabric is made from 100% polyester and specified for contract use. It has a robust 80,000 Martindale rating and is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request. In Meteorite, the colour reads as a deep grey-black marl with lighter speckling through the weave, creating a subdued, urban finish. The surface catches the light in patches, so the tone shifts from near-black in the shadows to a softer graphite grey across the raised texture. It is also listed as professional clean in situ or washable at 40℃, subject to the pattern book care guidance.

How to use it

Use Meteorite on banquettes, armchairs or office seating where you want a darker neutral that feels crisp rather than heavy. It pairs well with pale timber, concrete finishes and cooler metallics, letting the mottled grey add depth without overpowering the room.
