Lanark Platinum

Essential Weaves Vol 1 FabricEWV1LANARK

Lanark Platinum is a cool, softly reflective grey with a delicate geometric lattice that reads clean and modern on the eye. The small-scale pattern keeps the surface quietly detailed rather than busy.

About this fabric

This Ashley Wilde fabric from Essential Weaves Vol 1 is a 100% polyester textile made for drapes only, with a 140cm width and a 4cm vertical and horizontal repeat. Visually, the colourway sits in a pale platinum grey with a faint silvery cast, so the pattern appears restrained and airy rather than high contrast. The linked geometric/abstract motif forms a neat, small-scale network across the cloth, giving it a tailored look that feels precise and contemporary. At 357 grams per linear metre and 255 grams per square metre, it has enough substance for a well-held drape while still looking light in tone.

How to use it

Use Lanark Platinum when you want a polished neutral that softens daylight and keeps a room feeling fresh. It pairs especially well with white, charcoal and pale oak schemes where the subtle pattern can add interest without stealing attention.

A crisp, cool grey that adds subtle pattern without overpowering a scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lanark Platinum without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
