Monti Prairie

Marco FabricM4163-01

Monti Prairie in this colourway reads as a calm, softly mossed beige with a faintly striated surface. The fine woven texture gives it a quiet movement rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

This Monti Prairie fabric from Manuel Canovas’ Marco collection is woven in 70% viscose and 30% linen, giving the surface a gentle sheen with a natural, slightly dry handle. The repeat is a subtle V 2cm / H 1cm approx, which shows up here as a very fine, almost pinstripe-like texture rather than a bold pattern. In this colourway, the tone sits between beige and soft olive, with a muted warmth that feels grounded and easy to live with. At 140cm approx wide, it is a practical cloth for schemes that want texture and tone without visual noise. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √CM are both noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway on tailored upholstery, loose covers or simple curtains where the quiet moss-beige tone can soften wood, stone and painted finishes. It pairs especially well with warm neutrals, muted greens and aged brass.

A quiet, versatile neutral that adds gentle texture without overpowering a scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Monti Prairie without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
