Edgar Fraise

Montaigne FabricM4198-06

Edgar Fraise reads as a soft blush-beige with a fine, closely woven surface and a calm matte finish. The colour sits gently between warm beige and a faint rosy tint, giving the fabric a quietly lifted tone.

About this fabric

This Manuel Canovas fabric from the Montaigne collection has a compact plain weave that looks crisp and evenly textured in the swatch image. Its 51% viscose, 29% linen, 13% cotton, 5% acrylic and 2% polyester composition supports the fabric’s soft hand and subtle dry-linen character, while the width is approximately 138cm. The repeat is noted as vertical 0cm and horizontal 0cm approximately, so the design presents as a clean, non-directional ground rather than a patterned textile. The Edgar Fraise colourway is especially delicate, with a pale beige base and a whisper of pink that keeps it from reading flat or холодly neutral. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BH are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Edgar Fraise where you want a light neutral that still feels warmer than ivory, especially on upholstered pieces or tailored curtains. Its soft blush-beige tone pairs well with oak, chalk white and muted plaster shades.

A refined neutral that works quietly across upholstery and drapery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
