Montaigne Aqua

Montaigne FabricM4196-03

Montaigne Aqua shows a finely textured woven surface in a soft, pale aqua with a cool teal cast. The small-scale check-like structure gives the colour a crisp, fresh look rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

This Manuel Canovas fabric has a neat woven character with a subtle grid effect that is visible right across the swatch. The colourway is a muted aqua-teal, light enough to feel airy but with enough depth to stop it looking icy or stark. With a repeat of approximately V 5cm / H 4cm and a width of approximately 140cm, it has the proportions of a practical decorating textile rather than a purely decorative accent. The composition of 57% Cotton, 31% Polyester and 12% Acrylic suggests a balanced cloth with a stable hand and everyday versatility, while the clean texture keeps the surface looking tailored and refined.

How to use it

Use Montaigne Aqua where you want a cool, calm accent that still feels lifted by colour. It works especially well with pale oak, chalk white and brushed brass, or alongside deeper navy for a sharper contrast.

A cool aqua tone that reads fresh and airy in both upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
