About this fabric

This Montaigne colourway has a delicate, pale blue ground broken up by tiny flecks of ivory, grey and muted beige, giving the surface a crisp woven look. The 57% cotton, 31% polyester and 12% acrylic composition helps explain its slightly structured handle and neatly defined texture. With an approximate width of 140cm and a repeat of V 5cm / H 4cm, it is suited to tailored making where the small-scale woven effect can be appreciated. The cool, airy shade reads calm and understated, with a soft linen-like appearance rather than a flat solid.

How to use it

Use this colourway to brighten a bedroom, study or sitting room where you want a calm blue with texture and restraint. It pairs especially well with pale timber, chalky whites and brushed metal finishes.

A light, airy blue that works beautifully where you want texture without visual weight.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
