About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen and measuring approximately 140cm wide, Mia Ecureuil has a plain, tightly gridded weave with no visible repeat, which gives the colour a calm, even finish. The shade reads as a rich terracotta-brown with a subtle red oxide cast, deeper in the weave and slightly lighter where the cloth catches the light. That natural linen texture keeps the colour from looking flat, adding a gentle grain that suits both soft furnishings and window treatments. The overall effect is earthy, warm and quietly tailored rather than bright or glossy.

How to use it

Use this rust-toned linen to bring warmth to a pared-back room, especially with oak, aged brass and chalky neutrals. It also works well as a statement cushion or blind colour against plaster pinks and soft stone shades.

The warm rust tone and dry linen handle suit tailored curtains or upholstered accent pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
