About this fabric

This plain Wool Satin has a fine, even texture and a subtle satin reflection rather than a visible motif or directional pattern. At 380 gsm, its substantial weight supports its classification as an upholstery fabric. The usable width is 140 cm, with a standard length of 60 m and no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat. The warm brown tone gains depth where the cloth folds, making the colour appear richer in shadow and softer in direct light.

How to use it

Use Tabac to bring a warm, smoky brown anchor to a tailored sofa, occasional chair or upholstered headboard. Pair its muted depth with aged timber, brushed metal and lighter natural neutrals so the satin sheen remains understated.
