Cottingley Burnt Sienna brings a softly weathered check to the Haworth collection, with warm sienna, tan and blue-grey lines woven into a balanced mid-scale pattern. The effect is country-led and quietly tailored rather than bold.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this fabric has a usable width of 140cm and a 20,000 Martindale, making it suitable for General Domestic upholstery as well as drapery and accessories. The check is built from burnt sienna, camel, taupe and muted blue accents, giving the cloth a dry, tonal look with a little crisp contrast where the darker lines meet. Its 35cm horizontal and 12cm vertical pattern repeat creates an orderly grid that reads neatly across cushions, blinds or a feature chair. Colour fastness is 5, and it is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery.

How to use it

Use this burnt sienna colourway to warm up neutral rooms, especially alongside natural woods, linen, leather and aged brass. It would suit a cosy lounge, cottage dining chairs or Roman blinds where the earthy check can add structure without feeling heavy.

A warm checked fabric that works well on a relaxed armchair or tailored curtains.
