COTTINGLEY Pistachio 2

Haworth Fabric

Cottingley Pistachio 2 has a lively wavy stripe that blends pistachio green, plum and soft cream in a richly textured weave. The undulating bands give the cloth a playful, rhythmic look with plenty of movement across the surface.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this fabric has a usable width of 140cm and a 35cm horizontal by 12cm vertical pattern repeat. The 20,000 Martindale rating and General Domestic upholstery grade make it suitable for everyday interiors, while the treatable FR finish extends its use to both drapery and upholstery. In this colourway the pistachio tones read fresh and slightly muted, cut through with deeper plum stripes and pale neutral bands that stop the design feeling too bright. The zigzag weave adds a tactile, tailored feel, so the pattern looks crisp even where the stripes curve.

How to use it

This green-and-plum palette works well in rooms that need colour but still feel grounded, especially when paired with walnut, aged brass or warm white paintwork. Use it for full-length curtains, a headboard or a compact accent chair to let the striped wave pattern animate the room.

Use for statement curtains or a bold occasional chair where the wavy stripe can take centre stage.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside COTTINGLEY Pistachio 2 without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
